So what to do? It’s a heartrending dilemma for both. The film’s final scene is justifiably famous.<\/p>\n
David Lean’s beautiful meditation on the temptations of love is not to be missed. The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw calls it “a masterpiece of romantic cinema.”<\/p>\n
