Elizabeth Tavares, Department of English Literature, University of Illinois, Champaign will present:<\/p>\n

\nThis talk focuses on the house style of a rather politically notorious Renaissance playing company. In it, I focus on one of the more famous lost plays of the English Renaissance theater, Thomas Nashe\u2019s The Isle of Dogs, as a study in how accounting for a company\u2019s presentational strategies inflects how we tell the story of lost plays and, by extension, the early modern theatrical experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
