BIOGRAPHY
\nNaz\u0131m \u00dcnal Y\u0131lmaz is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Vienna. He received his Master of Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (2005\u20132010), where he studied in the studios of Peter Kogler and Daniel Richter. His practice has been further developed through prestigious international residencies, including the School of Visual Arts in New York (2010) and K\u00fcnstlerhaus Balmoral in Bad Ems, Germany (2014).<\/p>\n
Y\u0131lmaz\u2019s work has been presented internationally in solo and group exhibitions across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Notable recent solo exhibitions include Among Friends Hoast, Vienna, 2026), Horseless Horseman (Galerist, Istanbul, 2025), Brushman (Harkawik, New York, 2023), and Always Forward (Galerist, Istanbul, 2022). He has also exhibited in major group presentations and institutions, such as Belvedere 21 and K\u00fcnstlerhaus in Vienna, Tallinn Art Hall, Galleria Michela Rizzo in Venice, and the Frankfurter Kunstverein.
\nHis work is documented in several dedicated publications, most recently the monograph
