ABSTRACT :
\nThis presentation focuses on a project that aims to exemplify if and how different histories of architecture can be told through curation of architectural images and to bring an alternative approach to architectural history survey books\/courses through a proposed interactive web site. The project was based on a network analysis of a specific architectural history survey book, which aimed to show the density of relationships between space, time, and structure of the book. The proposed interactive web page aims to give the users an opportunity to utilize a selected data set of architectural images and curate their own architectural history. As a source for students, instructors and scholars from all fields of interest, the proposed web
\npage aims to highlight the fact that the history-writing process itself is a curation and to help audience and users, especially students, experience this first hand making of their own curations.<\/p>\n
BIOGRAPHY:
\nSema Karamano\u011flu has her graduate degree from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University. She received her MA degree in Architectural History from the Middle East Technical University. She also worked as a professional interior architect for several years focusing on a range of projects including restoration projects and bank branch renovation projects. She worked as a part-time instructor at \u00c7ankaya University, and she has been teaching at the Department of
\nInterior Architecture and Environmental Design of Bilkent University since 2017.<\/p>\n
