This result depends crucially upon the properness of such varieties. For affine groups in general, there is no analogous rigidity statement. We will nevertheless show that such a rigidity result holds for unirational groups (which are always affine) over fields of degree of imperfection 1 which satisfy certain conditions, and discuss several implications.<\/p>\n<p>Date: 24 March 2021, Wednesday<br \/>\nTime: 15:30 GMT+3<\/p>\n<p>This is an online seminar.
