In this way, pedagogy is foundational to the way that Jeff approaches architecture as both a discipline and profession. For his talk, ’The Practice of Pedagogy,’ Jeff will introduce how he takes up such concerns by highlighting recent and current projects, which aim to bridge the gap between teaching and practice.

BIO:
Jeffery J. Roberson is co-founder of OFFICE ONTIC, a design practice based in Brooklyn, NY. He holds a post-professional Master of Design Studies degree in the History and Philosophy of Design from Harvard University and a Master of Architecture degree from the Catholic University of America. Jeff has taught at The City College of New York, Kean University, Parsons School of Design, Mississippi State University and the Catholic University of America. He has been an architecture resident at Art Omi and was awarded the Deborah J. Norden Fellowship from the Architectural League of New York.
