\u201cOverview of “Fusion systems on small p-groups” by Craven and Glessar- II\u201d<\/p>\n
Abstract: In this talk we shall prove the following facts in detail: Let P be a metacyclic p-group and F be a saturated fusion system on P. Then P is normal in F if p is odd. In the case that p is even, F is trivial unless P is homocyclic abelian, dihedral, semidihedral or generalized quaternion.<\/p>\n
We also discuss some preliminary facts that are needed in these proofs.<\/p>\n
