Bio:<\/strong> His fields of research are relationship of image and type, history of image; in particular 16th century Ottoman illuminated maps and miniatures, 19th century Ottoman print culture and design education. This talk will cover his past and current experiences as a researcher, designer, educator and will suggest answers to the following questions: Is design a research-based activity? He conducted short term researches in Eikones Center in Switzerland and University of Art and Design Linz in Austria. He is currently teaching as a Visiting Assistant Professor at American University of Sharjah. <\/p>\n
