Each department\u00a0establishes its own criteria for admission, and departmental\u00a0listings include more detailed information about these\u00a0requirements. The following are some of the admission\u00a0requirements common to all departments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submission of ALES (Akademik Personel ve Lisans\u00fcst\u00fc\u00a0E\u011fitimi Giri\u015f S\u0131nav\u0131\/Academic Personnel and\u00a0Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam) or GRE scores.\u00a0GMAT scores are required for graduate program in\u00a0Business Administration.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and oral English. Please see the\u00a0web pages of each graduate program for the list of\u00a0accepted tests.<\/li>\n<li>Official transcripts.<\/li>\n<li>Recommendations from instructors or others qualified\u00a0to evaluate academic ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On-line applications are accepted at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stars.bilkent.edu.tr\/gradapp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>https:\/\/stars.bilkent.edu.tr\/gradapp\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a name=\"2\"><\/a>TUITION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The annual tuition fee for the 2024-2025 academic year for all\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/w3.bilkent.edu.tr\/en\/graduate-students-fees\/\">International and Turkish graduate students<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a name=\"3\"><\/a>FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Currently, about 90 percent of graduate students receive\u00a0financial support. Financial assistance is provided in the\u00a0form of a tuition waiver or a tuition waiver plus a monthly\u00a0stipend. The amount of the stipend is adjusted annually to\u00a0cover changes in the cost of living.<\/p>\n<p>Both admission and financial assistance are based on\u00a0academic accomplishment and scholarly promise, without\u00a0regard to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, age, national origin,\u00a0or physical disability.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a name=\"4\"><\/a>VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students may need a visa, depending on Turkey\u2019s visa\u00a0regime with their home country.
