Those applicants who are not Turkish citizens are required to submit a valid GRE score instead.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>GRE:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>MA \/ MA with IB: verbal and quantitative total of 295 (950) and 3.5 in analytical writing<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ph.D.:<\/strong> verbal and quantitative total of 305 (1100) and 4.0 in analytical writing<\/p>\n<p><u>GRE\/ALES scores are valid for 5 years. GRE\/ALES scores must be valid at the time of registration.<\/u><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>English Proficiency:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>MA \/ MA with IB and Ph.D.:<\/strong>\u00a0 TOEFL IBT (at least 87\/120 or 4.5\/6) or IELTS Academic (6.5 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each section), or Bilkent PAE (C)<\/p>\n<p>For Ph.D., if you submit IELTS or Bilkent PAE scores only, you also need to satisfy the foreign language requirement as imposed by the Inter-Universities Board (\u00dcAK) of Turkey: at least 55 from YDS or its equivalent as listed by the Board, in a language other than the mother tongue must be submitted.
