Prof. \u0130nci received the award in the Fundamental Sciences category, in which he was recognized for his innovative approaches in his field, his interdisciplinary research vision, and his high-impact scientific contributions.<\/p>\n<p>UNAM Asst. Prof. \u0130nci\u2019s research, focuses on point-of-care diagnostic tests, biosensors, microfluidic systems, extracellular vesicles, and microneedle technologies, as well as their clinical applications. The low-cost, rapid, and highly sensitive diagnostic platforms he has developed through<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>UNAM\u2019s infrastructure and scientific expertise, are currently being used in the early detection of infectious diseases, cancer, and other major health conditions. His work has directly impacted millions of lives by offering accessible solutions to address global health inequalities.<\/p>\n<p>The \u0130T\u00dc Science Awards are presented to scientists who conduct work in T\u00fcrkiye and have made significant contributions to science at an international level.
