GRE: (For foreign students)
LL.M. in Private Law and Public Law and Ph.D.: Verbal + Quantitative Combined 298 and 4 in the analytical writing part.
ALES: (EA) (For resident Turkish citizens)
LL.M. in Private Law and Public Law and Ph.D.: 55 (equally weighted).
ALES is required for resident Turkish citizens who are applying for LL.M (with thesis) and Ph.D. programs. Turkish citizens who are residents of foreign countries and those applicants who are not Turkish citizens may provide GRE or GMAT scores instead of ALES. ALES, GRE and GMAT scores are valid for 5 years.
GMAT: (For foreign students)
LL.M. in Private Law and Public Law and Ph.D.: Total score of 600.
LL.M. in Law and Economics, LL.M. in Private Law and Public Law and Ph.D.: TOEFL IBT (at least 87), IELTS (at least 6.5 average and 5.5 from each section) or Bilkent PAE (at least C).
Period of validity: 2 years
Proof of Degree:
LL.M. in Law and Economics: Bachelor’s Degree; LL.M. in Private Law and Public Law: Bachelor’s Degree in Law; Ph.D. Bachelor’s and Graduate Degrees in Law.
Applicants holding Bachelor’s Degree in Law and/or LL.M. degrees obtained from Universities abroad are required to submit diploma equivalence provided from the Turkish Council of Higher Education
Language of the Programs: Turkish and English
Applicants must note that all of the graduate programs include compulsory courses in Turkish.
