All graduates who plan to attend the graduation ceremony are required to log into SRS to

  1. a) indicate their cap and gown size, and
  2. b) make seat selections for their guests

no later than Wednesday, 15 June 2022, at 17:30. Please do not miss this deadline.

Refer to the gown size measurements on the SRS gown selection screen when choosing the correct gown size for yourself. Once you select your gown size you will also have to pay a deposit fee of 350₺ for the cap and gown, via credit card. On the day of the ceremony, you will find your cap and gown placed on your assigned seat in the Odeon, with a label that bears your name. After the ceremony, graduates may return their caps and gowns at stands outside of the Odeon or have the option of returning them to the campus at a later date.

Graduates can reserve seats for 4, 6 or 8 of their guests who will attend the ceremony. SRS will display seating selections in groups of 4, 6 or 8 and once a selection is made, these seats will be reserved.

Changes to guest seat assignments can be made via SRS until 17 June 2022 at 09:00. It will not be possible to make changes via SRS after this date and time. Starting at 09:00 on 17 June 2022, graduates will be able to generate, via SRS, an “Entry Pass” with seat numbers for each of their guests. Since the Entry Pass produced through SRS will have a unique QR code for each guest, they are required to come to the ceremony area with their own Entry Pass containing the QR code. The Entry Pass must be brought along as a paper printout since scanners at the Odeon entrance gates cannot scan codes from mobile phones. Guests who do not have an Entry Pass will not be admitted to the ceremony area.

Graduates are expected to be at Odeon grounds one hour before the scheduled start time of the ceremony, which corresponds to 10:00 for morning sessions and 16:30 for afternoon sessions. They should wear their cap and gowns and be seated in their reserved seat at most 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Guests may arrive together with the graduating student or separately if they wish, but no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the ceremony.

Guests must sit in their assigned seats and remain seated throughout the ceremony.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the Odeon, including the parking lots.
