Bilkent faculty members are among the scientists to have received this year’s Outstanding Young Scientist Awards from the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).
The Bilkent awardees are: Asst. Prof. Serkan İsmail Göktuna (Molecular Biology and Genetics) and Asst. Prof. Gül Günaydın (Psychology). The awards were presented at a ceremony held on February 1 at the presidential palace.
TÜBA introduced the Program to Award Young Scientists (GEBİP) in 2001 to recognize and support young outstanding researchers working in the natural and social sciences, engineering and medicine.
