“Statistics of Random Real Algebraic Hypersurfaces”
Abstract: By random real algebraic hypersurface in ℝℙᵐ we mean the zero variety of a random homogenous polynomial in m+1 variables. The main theme of the talk is the statistics of the volume in ℝℙᵐ and number of connected components of such varieties. I will report some known results and their recent generalizations.
