Quentin Tarantino’s wildly entertaining ‘Inglorious Basterds’ will be Bilkent Cinematics’ next offering, on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Tarantino’s film follows a group of Jewish soldiers in WWII (led by an amusing Brad Pitt) determined to kill as many Nazis–not least of all Hitler–during the war. But first they must contend with the cruel but highly sophisticated Nazi Hans Lansa (Christoph Waltz, in a much-deserved Oscar winning role) and countless other dangerous obstacles.
Critic Roger Ebert called ‘Inglorious Basterds’ “a big, bold, audacious war movie,” and it is surely one of Tarantino’s most entertaining, if historically absurd, efforts.
‘Inglorious Basterds’ screens on Wednesday, October 25, 6 p.m., in FFB05. Everyone is welcome. All Cinematics movies are shown with English subtitles, and snacks and refreshments are always served. Contact Hossein Dabir at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
