Abstract:
Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic narratives give expression to anxieties about possible futures as well as critique the values and ideologies that might have led us to that future in the first place. These papers examine the ways filmmakers and fiction writers have utilized form, language, and apocalyptic imagery to tackle some of the most important
issues of our time.
