GRE: minimum verbal and quantitative total of 295 (950) and 3,5 in analytical writing
ALES: 60 (verbal)
ALES is required for resident Turkish citizens who are applying for the MA programs. Turkish citizens who are residents of foreign countries and those applicants who are not Turkish citizens may provide GRE scores instead of ALES. ALES scores are valid for 3 years . GRE scores are valid for 5 years. GRE/ALES scores must be valid at the time of registration.
English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT (at least 87) or IELTS Academic (at least 6.5 with minimum score of 5.5 in each section) or Bilkent PAE (at least C). All exam scores are considered valid for only two years and they must be valid at the time of registration.
