Requirements:

GMAT/GRE: 

MS: GMAT / GRE (for international students)
GMAT / GRE is not required for Turkish citizens but can be helpful.

PhD: GMAT/GRE
MBA: GMAT/GRE/ALES
EMBA: Not Required

GMAT/GRE scores are valid for 5 years.

ALES:

MS, PhD: 75 (equally-weighted)
Citizens of Turkey should provide ALES score. Applicants who are not citizens of Turkey should take GMAT or GRE.

MBA: 55 (equally-weighted)
EMBA: Not Required

ALES scores are valid for 5 years.

English Proficiency:

MBA, MS: TOEFL IBT (at least 87), IELTS (at least 6.5 average and 5.5 from each section) or Bilkent PAE (at least C).
PhD: TOEFL IBT (at least 87), IELTS (at least 6.5 average and 5.5 from each section) or Bilkent PAE (at least C). *
EMBA: Not required

Validity period for all exams: 2 years

* If you submit IELTS or Bilkent English Proficiency Exam (PAE) results and you are applying for a PhD program, you also need to satisfy the foreign language requirement as imposed by the Inter-Universities Board (ÜAK) of Turkey. In that case, a minimum of 55 from YDS or its equivalents as listed by the Board, in a language other than the mother tongue must be submitted.

Citizens of Turkey who plan to submit TOEFL IBT scores must take the TOEFL IBT exam at one of the test centers in public universities (YÖK requirement).

TOEFL IBT “Special Home Edition” test results will not be accepted.

Proof of Degree: Yes (Bachelors degree for MBA, Executive MBA and MS; masters degree with thesis for Ph.D.)

Transcripts: Yes (most recent one available at the time of application)

Statement of Purpose: Yes (for MBA, Executive MBA, MS and PhD applicants)

Letter of Recommendation:

2 for MBA and Executive MBA (uploaded to the online application system)

3 for MS and PhD (uploaded to the online application system)

Other: CV (for all programs)
