Bilkent University is seeking applications and nominations for the position of the Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (FADA).

Bilkent University is a non-profit foundation university supported by its own endowment. Bilkent is a vibrant international community; faculty members come from 40 different countries, and the language of instruction across the university is English. FADA currently accommodates over 1500 undergraduate and graduate students in six departments: Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communication and Design, Interior Architecture and Design, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, and Architecture.
The Dean is expected to have a distinguished academic record expected of a full professor at Bilkent University. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader with excellent interpersonal skills and a vision for a faculty with diverse interests. The university administration is receptive to new ideas leading to a re-structuring in FADA depending on the vision the Dean is expected to bring. There will be opportunity of hiring at the junior and senior levels in all departments, with an eye towards both advancing research, artistic and design activity, and creation or modifications of academic programs. International faculty candidates are encouraged to apply as speaking Turkish is not a requirement for this position.
