Bilkent Summer School on Artificial Intelligence provides a practical training on computer engineering, programming basics and current research topics in artificial intelligence. At the end of the summer school, students are expected to reach a level of knowledge that will enable them to develop basic programming projects with their own computers.
We invite all first-, second- and third-year high school students who are interested in computer engineering, one of the most important and most influential professions of today’s world, to apply for Bilkent Summer School on Artificial Intelligence.
TOPICS
- Introduction to Computer Engineering.
- Basic-level Python programming and application development.
- Introduction to research topics in artificial intelligence and deep (machine) learning.
- Implementation of an artificial intelligence project.
- Bilkent University campus tour and sports activities.
APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION

(Early applicants will receive priority in the evaluation process.)

APPLICATION CONDITIONS:
- Electronic application form should be submitted until the deadline,
- Applicants should complete the first, second or third year of high school as of June 2018 (applications of high school graduates will not be considered).
Results of the applications will be announced via e-mail on May 11, 2018. Accepted students will need to complete their registration by May 18, 2018.
Registration fee for the summer school is 600 TL (8% VAT included). The registration fee includes lunches and snacks during the summer school (five days).
Final registrations will be completed online. A list of the required documents for registration will be sent to the accepted students via e-mail. If accepted students fail to complete their final registration by May 18, 2018, the applicants in the waiting list will be invited.
COURSE HOURS AND TRANSPORTATION
Lectures will be held from July 23 to July 27 at Bilkent University Central Campus between 09:00-17:00.
